Transition
2017 / 2019
installation on the wall, three–channel video projection, 2’00“, loop, 1’30“ loop, two channel sound
1100 x 250 x 40 cm
A small car that enables escape from interiors cluttered with objects is a symbol of freedom. It fits the most necessary things: a shelter tent and a minimum of essential things, the number of which is reduced inversely proportional to the amount of things piling in the apartment.
Some cliffs, temporary possible travel destinations, are connected by roads that, like bridges over the abyss of loss of security and comfort, lead to freedom. But we are not the ones who travel, it is the mountains that travel beside us
Terrace
2019
two objects, metal stands and aerated concrete, chandelier model
60 x 64 x 97, 35 x 30 x 45 cm
Wandered off the mountain, stray cliffs are set into flower stands and thus reduced to home decor items. One of them contains a pond. A small chandelier above it is reflected in the part of the water’s surface that is not covered by leaves.
Tent / Between
2015 / 2019
tent, sound, 20′ 57”
The sound work Between is embedded in a ready-made tent. The sound begins with the rhythm of the clock as a metronome of life. The regular rhythm soon turns into irregular natural and ambient sounds.
The objective rhythm of the clock at the beginning, in the end becomes the subjective rhythm of breathing. The path has been crossed from external to internal, from objective to the subjective rhythm. (Turković, Evelina. Slika od zvuka (A Picture of Sound), broadcast on December 12, 2015, Croatian Radio)

…it could be concluded that numerous trips are actually the implementation of a conceptual idea, manifestly explained by the choice of departure, or its reasons. Because these reasons can be universally translated as a worldview platform that recommends a way out of the everyday life, a change of the entire context, a recapture of the already forgotten experience of freedom, a questioning our relationship with what we supposedly necessarily need, while civilization is constantly changing that relationship, increasing the number of necessities. Such an exit means resistance to this increase and return to, so to speak, some kind of initial level. (Greiner, Boris. 2017, Transition, Zagreb: AZ Gallery)
